Emma Raducanu out of U.S. Open as she recovers from stress fracture in right leg
Emma Raducanu, the 2021 U.S. Open champion, has withdrawn from this year's U.S. Open due to a stress fracture in her right leg, the same injury that forced her out of Wimbledon. Prior to the injury, Raducanu had reached the final of Queen's, where she lost in straight sets to Donna Vekić.
