Engineer, sustainability expert, and former racer Pete Bonfield confirmed as new British Cycling CEO

Professor Pete Bonfield, a materials engineer and vice-chancellor of the University of Westminster, has been confirmed as the new CEO of British Cycling, taking over in November. He replaces Jon Dutton, who left to take up the same role at another British sports body. Bonfield is also noted as a former racer and sustainability expert.
