England climbed one place to fifth in the World Rugby Men's Rankings after a record 73-8 victory over Fiji at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool, their first match at that venue. Scotland dropped to sixth following a 42-28 defeat to world number one South Africa in Pretoria. South Africa extended their lead over New Zealand at the top of the rankings to 2.92 rating points, while France closed the gap on the top three with a 42-21 win over Australia in Brisbane.
