England give Fleming unprecedented consent to balance job with TV role in New Zealand

Stephen Fleming, England's new Test head coach, has been given unprecedented permission by the ECB to work as a TV commentator for Sky New Zealand during the Black Caps' series against India in October and December. Fleming arrived in England on Monday for a 10-day trip that includes meetings with captain Joe Root and ECB men's cricket managing director Rob Key. During Fleming's absence from the role this summer, batting coach Marcus Trescothick oversaw a 3-0 Test series win over Pakistan.
