England omit Brydon Carse again for third Test against Pakistan at Edgbaston

England have omitted fast bowler Brydon Carse from their squad for the third and final Test against Pakistan at Edgbaston, as police continue to investigate allegations of assault linked to a late-night incident at a Derby bar last month, during which the 31-year-old Durham seamer was briefly arrested. The Cricket Regulator is also conducting its own investigation into the incident. The squad is otherwise unchanged from the Lord's Test apart from the absence of Matthew Fisher, with Sonny Baker, Shoaib Bashir, Sam Cook, and Ollie Pope all retained despite not featuring in the playing XI.
