England Rugby: Maro Itoje will 'come back better' after rest

England senior assistant coach Richard Wigglesworth has defended the decision to rest captain Maro Itoje for next month's Test match against world champions South Africa on 4 July, as well as subsequent fixtures against Fiji and Argentina. Wigglesworth, who previously played alongside Itoje at Saracens and for England, believes the rest period is the right call for the lock forward. He expressed confidence that Itoje will return in better form following the break.
