England see off USA to return to winning ways

England's Red Roses women's rugby union team defeated the United States to return to winning ways, though the victory did not fully dispel concerns about their standing at the top of the women's game. The match was reported on October 31, 2026, by BBC Sport's Mike Henson. The result keeps England in contention but leaves questions remaining about their dominance in women's rugby.
