England shoot themselves in the foot AGAIN as Argentina swoop for defence guru Shaun Edwards - Steve Borthwick and the RFU have missed a golden opportunity for much-needed coaching shake-up and this grave error will come back to haunt them

Shaun Edwards, the highly regarded Wigan-born defence coach, has signed with Argentina ahead of the next Rugby World Cup, ending any possibility of him joining Steve Borthwick's England coaching staff. The move is seen as a significant missed opportunity for the RFU and England, who have long been linked with Edwards but failed to secure his services. Columnist Alex Bywater argues the decision to overlook Edwards represents a grave error that could have lasting consequences for England rugby.
