England thrash Croatia to put World Cup heartbreak firmly behind them

England defeated Croatia 7-0 in a UEFA Nations League match held at Stadion HNK Rijeka on Saturday, marking a dominant start to Thomas Tuchel's tenure as manager. The result came after England had already beaten Czech Republic 2-0 and narrowly lost 3-2 to Spain in the same international break. Tuchel described the victory as a crucial step forward following England's painful World Cup semifinal defeat to Argentina.
