English Open: Historic golf tournament to be resurrected in England after more than two decades

The English Open golf tournament is set to return after more than two decades, having last been held in 2002 when Darren Clarke was the final winner. The revived event will be played at The Vale Golf Club in Worcestershire from June 18 to 21, featuring a prize fund of £300,000. The tournament will initially appear on the HotelPlanner Tour in 2025 and 2026, with a future edition planned for the DP World Tour in 2028.
