Enzo Maresca confirmed as Manchester City manager on three-year deal

Enzo Maresca, 46, has been confirmed as Manchester City's new manager on a three-year deal, replacing Pep Guardiola. City paid Chelsea £17m in compensation for the Italian, who previously served as Guardiola's assistant at the club for 12 months. Chelsea claim Maresca informed them of the opportunity at the end of last season and that his resignation at the turn of the year was a major contributing factor to their poor campaign.
