Eric Cole gets another shot at first PGA TOUR win after third-round 63 at Colonial

Eric Cole fired a season-best 7-under 63 on Saturday at the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial (Hogan's Alley) to reach 12-under 198, taking a one-stroke lead over Ryan Gerard heading into the final round. Mac Meissner and reigning U.S. Open champion J.J. Spaun sit two strokes back at 10 under. Third-round leader Jordan Smith struggled to a 4-over 74, falling into a tie for 19th place, while the 37-year-old Cole seeks his first PGA TOUR win in his 120th start.
