Espada not returning as Astros manager after winning AL West

Joe Espada will not return as manager of the Houston Astros after the 2026 season, the team announced. During his three seasons at the helm, Espada guided Houston to two American League West division titles. The decision means the Astros will be seeking new managerial leadership heading into the 2027 season.
