Essex cricketer Das charged with two counts of rape

Essex cricketer Robin Das, 24, has been charged with two counts of rape following his arrest on 27 August last year, which came after reports of a woman being raped in Brixton in March 2024. Das was charged on 23 July 2026 and is scheduled to appear at Inner London Crown Court on Friday, 9 October. He last appeared for Essex in a One-Day Cup match against Middlesex on 21 July.
