European Athletics Championships: Birmingham prepares for the August event

Birmingham will host the European Athletics Championships from 10–16 August, marking the first time the event has been held in the UK. More than 1,500 track and field athletes from approximately 50 countries are expected to compete at the renovated Alexander Stadium. The seven-day event comes four years after Birmingham successfully hosted the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
