'Everything went wrong' β Fred Vasseur critical of Ferrari's 2026 Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix performance
Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur described the 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix as a race where 'everything went wrong' for the Scuderia, with both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton failing to reach the podium despite strong practice pace at the Hungaroring. Hamilton, who had been fastest in Friday practice alongside Leclerc, was denied pole by Lando Norris and received a three-place grid penalty for blocking Oscar Piastri. Hamilton ultimately finished fourth after a late third pit stop and a five-second penalty for speeding in the pit lane, while Leclerc also failed to challenge the race leaders.
