Ex-snooker champ Dott jailed for seven years
Former world snooker champion Graeme Dott, 49, has been sentenced to seven years in jail after being found guilty of sexually abusing two primary school-age children. The offences involved a girl targeted between 1993 and 1996 and a boy between 2006 and 2010, with Dott convicted of two counts of lewd, indecent and libidinous behaviour following a five-day trial. He was sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh by judge Lord Harrower, who described the abuse as a 'gross violation of trust,' and Dott's name was added to the sex offenders register.
