Exeter finally register first win despite Christian Wade’s hat-trick for Newcastle

Exeter defeated Newcastle 34-28 in a Premiership Rugby match to claim their first win of the season. Christian Wade scored a hat-trick for Newcastle, becoming only the second player in history to score 100 top-tier tries, leaving him just one behind Chris Ashton's all-time Premiership record of 101. Exeter's victory was secured late on by a try from Georgian prop Bachuki Tchumbadze, with Ross Vintcent also contributing two first-quarter tries for the Chiefs.
