Expanded season taps into Sundays as 2027 draw revealed

Super Rugby Pacific has revealed its 2027 season draw, featuring an expanded 17-round, 80-game regular season that kicks off on Friday 12 February with the Crusaders hosting the Queensland Reds at One New Zealand Stadium. The schedule includes ten Sunday games — six more than last season — along with a full Easter weekend round of five fixtures and a Super Round returning to Christchurch in Round 8. An Anzac weekend blockbuster at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane will see the Reds face the Blues on the eve of the inaugural Anzac Day Bledisloe Cup Test.
