F1 assures teams Middle East races will go ahead

Formula 1 has assured its 11 teams that the two remaining Middle East races — the Qatar Grand Prix and the Abu Dhabi season finale on December 6 — will proceed as planned. The reassurance came after Yamaha's MotoGP team withdrew its entry, citing its travel policy restricting trips to the Middle East due to the war in Iran, stating it found 'no sufficient grounds' to alter that policy. F1's message, seen by ESPN, also cautioned teams against speaking publicly or engaging with media speculation on the matter, as Kimi Antonelli has already clinched the drivers' world championship.
