F1 Dutch GP: Russell takes pole in tight sprint qualifying with Antonelli fifth
George Russell claimed pole position for the Dutch Grand Prix sprint race at Zandvoort, setting a time of 1m11.567s to beat Lando Norris by just 0.041 seconds — his third sprint pole of the 2026 F1 season. Charles Leclerc qualified third for Ferrari, 0.055s off the pace, with Oscar Piastri fourth and championship leader Kimi Antonelli fifth, the latter hampered by floor damage sustained during SQ1. Max Verstappen qualified sixth for Red Bull, 0.227s behind Antonelli.
