Championship leader Kimi Antonelli suffered a power unit issue that ended his session early, with Mercedes' best result being fifth despite the team having won all three grands prix held so far this season. The Miami GP practice was the first session since Japan at the end of March, following cancellations caused by the Middle Eastern conflict.
