F1 reduces maximum distance of races by 15km

Formula 1 has announced that the maximum race distance for grands prix will be reduced by 15km, from 305km to 290km, starting from the 2027 season. The change represents a reduction of approximately 5% in race length. The decision was officially announced by F1 and reported by BBC Sport.
