F1 rule changes ahead of Miami GP explained: What’s changing and why
The FIA, all F1 teams, and Formula 1 management reached an agreement on Monday on a package of rule changes ahead of the Miami Grand Prix. The changes primarily target energy management in qualifying, aiming to push cars closer to their limits, while also addressing closing speeds to improve safety during starts, which will be trialled at Miami.
