Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali announced on Wednesday that a decision on whether the season-ending races in Qatar (November 29) and Abu Dhabi (December 6) can proceed will not be made until mid-September, due to ongoing conflict in the Middle East following the Iran war. F1 has identified Imola, Italy as the front-runner to host a replacement season finale, while Domenicali ruled out holding a second race in Las Vegas as a contingency option.
