F1 Today | Turkish GP returns to Formula 1 as Audi names Wheatley successor

Formula 1 has officially confirmed the Turkish Grand Prix will return to the calendar from 2027, following a five-year absence since its last edition in 2021. The deal is a multi-year agreement spanning five seasons, keeping Istanbul Park as a permanent fixture through to 2031 with no rotation system. Additionally, Audi has formally named a successor to Jonathan Wheatley as part of the team's ongoing F1 preparations.
