F1 track work begins next week, bringing Strip-area lane closures
Construction work for the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix begins next week, with overnight lane reductions starting Wednesday at 9 p.m. on Koval Lane at Rochelle Avenue, including a full road closure around 2 a.m. to install a pedestrian bridge. From September 7β18, Harmon Avenue between Las Vegas Boulevard and Koval Lane will also see nightly lane reductions from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for track lighting installation. The race itself is scheduled for November 19β21 on the 3.8-mile circuit around the Las Vegas Strip.
