F1 viewership has plunged since move from ESPN to Apple TV
Formula 1's U.S. viewership has dropped significantly in 2026, its first season airing on Apple TV after leaving ESPN following the 2025 season, according to data from analytics firm Samba TV. The Miami Grand Prix saw the steepest decline with household reach down 68% year-over-year, while the Monaco Grand Prix fell 66%. Eight of nine races analyzed have posted viewership declines, with only the Japanese Grand Prix holding steady.
