F1's Miami GP brought forward amid storm threat

Formula 1 has moved the start time of the Miami Grand Prix forward by three hours, from 4 p.m. ET to 1 p.m. ET (6 p.m. BST), due to forecasts of heavy thunderstorms and rain on Sunday. The decision was made following discussions between F1, the FIA, and the Miami promoter on Saturday night, with the aim of maximising the window to complete the 57-lap race. The change prioritises safety for drivers, fans, teams, and staff, though there is no guarantee the race will start at the new time.
