FA chair: Infantino not fit to be FIFA boss without answers
Football Association chair Debbie Hewitt, who is also a FIFA vice-president, stated that Gianni Infantino is 'not fit to be FIFA president' if he fails to answer questions about the FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE) private investor plan and the Folarin Balogun case. Speaking in Zurich on Thursday following a FIFA Council meeting, Hewitt said members received no answers to questions they had specifically requested regarding the FFE plan or the incident in which US striker Balogun's one-match ban was suspended after a call from US President Donald Trump to Infantino. Hewitt indicated that Infantino had asked Council members to submit their questions in writing and stressed that full transparency, including disclosure of FFE documents, is the minimum required.
