FA launches Rochdale and York pitch invasion probe

The Football Association has launched an investigation into the National League title decider between Rochdale and York City played on Saturday, which featured two separate pitch invasions and an alleged incident of a York player punching a supporter. York City won the title after Josh Stones scored in the 13th minute of stoppage time to equalise, securing promotion to the EFL as champions, after Rochdale had taken the lead through Mani Dieseruvwe in the fifth minute of six allocated stoppage-time minutes. The first pitch invasion followed Dieseruvwe's goal, and a second occurred after York's equaliser, with the FA also aware of footage related to the alleged punching incident.
