Fan found guilty for racial abuse to Rashford

A Spanish football fan has been found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United's Marcus Rashford during the LaLiga match between Barcelona and Oviedo on September 25, in which Barcelona won 3-1. The fan, convicted in a court in Oviedo on Wednesday for 'violating the dignity of persons on racist grounds,' received a nine-month suspended prison sentence, a €900 ($1,000) fine, and a three-year stadium ban. The prison sentence was suspended, as is standard in Spain for sentences under two years, on the condition that the offender completes educational programmes and complies with the stadium ban.
