FC Cincinnati midfielder Evander has been named MLS Player of the Month for May 2026 after a standout five-game run in which he scored seven goals and added five assists for 12 total goal contributions, a new personal monthly best. He led all MLS players in goals during May and ranked second in assists, accounting for 71 percent of Cincinnati's 17 goals that month. Evander kicked off May with his first career hat trick in a 3-2 win at Chicago Fire FC.
