FC Cincinnati sign Dutch defender Tyrell Malacia

FC Cincinnati have signed 27-year-old Dutch defender Tyrell Malacia on a deal running through June 2027, with an option for the 2027-28 MLS season. As part of the transfer, Cincinnati sent $200,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money (GAM) to St. Louis CITY SC in exchange for an international roster slot. Malacia arrives as a free agent having previously played 50 games for Manchester United across all competitions.
