FC Cincinnati midfielder Gerardo Valenzuela has been suspended for two matches total and fined an undisclosed amount by the MLS Disciplinary Committee following violent conduct in the 90th+ minute of Cincinnati's match against the Columbus Crew on July 25, 2026. Valenzuela will serve his red card suspension against the San Jose Earthquakes on August 1, with the additional match suspension coming against Orlando City SC on August 15. The rulings were issued after Matchday 18 of the 2026 MLS season.
