Ferrari to deliver upgraded F1 engine at Italian GP
Ferrari will introduce an upgraded power unit, designated the 067/7, at the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix in Monza, utilizing one of its two permitted ADUO upgrades after being found over 4% behind the benchmark. The new engine, overseen by engineer Enrico Gualtieri, features a revised combustion chamber and turbocharger projected to deliver a 15 horsepower gain, which is expected to halve Ferrari's deficit to the leading Mercedes unit. Additional performance gains are anticipated from aerodynamic updates, track-specific parts, and new fuel developed in partnership with Shell.
