Fever coach Stephanie White dismisses WNBA injury reporting warning: ‘For what?’

Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White dismissed a WNBA warning issued on Thursday after the league found the team had violated injury report protocol by not listing Caitlin Clark on the Tuesday injury report before she was scratched from Wednesday's game against the Portland Fire. White was unapologetic when asked about the warning at her Friday pregame press conference ahead of the Fever's game against the Golden State Valkyries, responding 'For what?' when asked about her reaction. Clark subsequently returned and addressed the controversy surrounding the handling of her injury announcement.
