FIA change Miami GP start time due to storm threat

The FIA has moved the 2026 F1 Miami Grand Prix start time forward by three hours, from 16:00 to 13:00 local time (18:00 BST) on Sunday, May 3rd, due to a forecast of heavy thunderstorms expected later in the afternoon. The decision was made jointly by the FIA, F1, and the Miami promoter to minimise disruption and maximise the window for completing the 57-lap race in safer conditions. The change prioritises the safety of drivers, fans, teams, and staff.
