FIA Extends Formula 1 Tire Supplier Agreement With Pirelli

The FIA has extended its tire supplier agreement with Pirelli for Formula 1 through the end of the 2028 season, activating an optional clause from a contract originally signed in 2023 that covered 2025–2027. Pirelli will continue as the exclusive tire supplier for the FIA Formula 1, Formula 2, and Formula 3 Championships until 2028. The extension was confirmed by FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem, who cited Pirelli's consistent performance, innovation, and safety standards as key factors in the decision.
