Fifa to share confidential World Cup sell-off plan documents

FIFA has informed members of its Council that they will be granted access to view some documents related to president Gianni Infantino's failed plan to sell off stakes in the World Cup to private investors. The move comes after Infantino's proposal to bring in private investment through a stake sale in the tournament did not succeed. Council members will be allowed to view certain confidential documents connected to the plan.
