Fifa wants to restrict women’s Olympic football to under-23s in controversial move
FIFA is pushing for the women's Olympic football tournament to be restricted to under-23 players, citing concerns over fixture congestion and the workload of senior players. Both FIFA and the IOC have indicated they are open to dialogue on the matter.
