First blood to England in ODI series after Will Jacks helps see off Sri Lanka

England defeated Sri Lanka by 89 runs in the first ODI, taking a 1-0 series lead. Harry Brook top-scored with 67 as England posted 265 all out in 48.1 overs, while Will Jacks took five wickets to bowl Sri Lanka out for 176. The second match of the series is scheduled for Thursday at Headingley.
