First medal for Novuna GB&NI on Day Three of World U20 Championships

Wyatt Larkins, a 19-year-old athlete from Harrow AC, won a bronze medal in the men's hammer throw (6kg) final on Day Three of the World Athletics U20 Championships on August 8, 2026. His first attempt produced a personal best distance of 75.38m, which held up throughout the competition to secure the medal. The result gave the Novuna Great Britain & Northern Ireland team their first medal of the Championships, with Larkins having entered the competition ranked 12th.
