Flagler College peaked at the right time for NCAA Division II tennis title

Flagler College's men's tennis team won its first NCAA Division II national championship, defeating No. 2-ranked Barry University 4-3 in the final match. The victory is the school's first national tennis title since winning NAIA championships in the 1980s. Coach Jonas Piibor attributed the late-season success to rigorous training and improved team commitment during the 15-day gap between their Peach Belt Conference loss on April 26 and the NCAA tournament.
