Flames Fall To Oilers

The Calgary Flames prospects fell 6-1 to the Edmonton Oilers in the NextGen Showcase at Scotiabank Saddledome on September 15, 2026. Aydar Suniev scored the only goal for Calgary, while the Oilers netted two in the first period through Quinn Hutson (power play) and Zach Bookman. Despite the Flames generating numerous chances in the second period, they could not find the net against Oilers goaltenders Nathaniel Day and Eemil Vinni.
