Florida Panthers Acquire 2026 First-Round Selection and 2027 Second-Round Selection from Seattle Kraken

The Florida Panthers have acquired Tampa Bay's 2026 first-round pick (previously held by Seattle) and a conditional 2027 second-round pick from the Seattle Kraken in exchange for forward Mackie Samoskevich, as announced by GM Bill Zito on June 21, 2026. The 2027 second-round pick is conditional to become the higher of the Winnipeg or Columbus 2027 second-round selections. Samoskevich, originally drafted 24th overall by Florida in 2021, played 156 regular-season games with the Panthers, recording 63 points (27 goals, 36 assists).
