Flyers Acquire Two Draft Picks from Florida in Exchange for Garnet Hathaway and 2026 Sixth Round Pick

The Philadelphia Flyers have traded forward Garnet Hathaway and a 2026 sixth-round pick to the Florida Panthers in exchange for a 2026 fifth-round pick and a 2027 fourth-round pick, according to General Manager Daniel Briere. Hathaway, 34, spent three seasons with Philadelphia from 2023–26, recording 18 goals, 23 assists, and 41 points in 215 games. Over his 11-season NHL career with Calgary, Washington, Boston, and Philadelphia, he accumulated 163 points in 672 games.
