Foot blister forces McIlroy to cut short PGA practice round
World number two Rory McIlroy cut short his practice round at Aronimink Golf Club on Tuesday, completing only three holes before returning to the clubhouse by cart due to a blister on his right pinky toe. The reigning Masters champion from Northern Ireland had been spotted removing his shoe and sock to examine the injury during the round. McIlroy, who had previously practiced at Aronimink two weeks prior, has one more day to rest or prepare before his first round tee time of 8:40 a.m. at the PGA Championship.
