Former GB number one Evans to retire after Wimbledon

Former British number one Dan Evans, 36, has announced he will retire from tennis after this year's Wimbledon. Evans reached a career-high ranking of 21 in 2023 but has played only five professional matches this year and dropped to 217th in the world. During his career, he won two ATP Tour titles and was part of Great Britain's 2015 Davis Cup-winning team, their first title in 79 years.
