Former Mercedes technical director Elliott joins Alpine as CTO - RACER

Alpine has announced the signing of Mike Elliott as its new Chief Technical Officer (CTO). Elliott previously served as technical director and then CTO at Mercedes, leaving the team in 2023, and had earlier worked at Renault from 2008 to 2012 as a principal aerodynamicist. Alpine credits Elliott with contributing to eight constructors' and eight drivers' championships during his time at Mercedes, and says he will lead the team's technical and engineering functions at Enstone as they look to close the gap to the top four teams.
